This woman is struggling with severe arthritis, and her Social Security disability application has been delayed for nearly 10 months. Despite spending over four decades in the workforce, and being told she’s eligible for benefits, she can’t get them processed.
Application denials and delays have been the story for her over the last year. As she waits, the hours feel like days, as she depends on dozens of medications to manage her pain.
