We’ve discussed how partial insolvency could plague the program in the coming decade or more. While this isn’t the same as total bankruptcy, it does constitute a failure of the system.
After all, many seniors need every cent of their benefits. Even those who are well-off deserve their money. Remember, we’ve all paid into this program and deserve to be paid back.
